- brendaI received an email that was supposedly from Norton about a renewal charge of $286. I called this number as I do not have an account with Norton. This email was sent to Lonoya8643@gmail.com with BCC to me. The email addy that they used for me is one that I have not had for 2.5 years. The email said to call this number. a foreigner answered the phone with Norton, how can I help you. He asked for my name and told me that I was sent this email because I had an account and this was the auto renewal. He hung up on me when I told him I did not have a Norton account and he best not take any funds from me account. I told him to get a real job and quit trying to scam people.
